Dec 17th, 2014 marks the end of a long and amazing journey for the J.R.R. Tolkien stories, turned into cinematic art.  It seems like just yesterday that people were filling the seats for a midnight showing of The Fellowship of the Ring (I among them).

It is times like these when you really appreciate the effort that is required to piece together not one, but six gigantic movie productions.  Hollywood will always have it’s place in our hearts and our imagination.  And thanks to Mr Tolkien, we feel free to embark on our own wonderful journey’s.
